COOLEMAN WEAR — REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Compliant with UK Consumer Legislation (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 & Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Statutory Compliance Notice: This policy has been drafted in strict accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applicable to e-commerce transactions within the United Kingdom. Nothing within these terms affects your statutory legal rights as a UK consumer.

1. Right to Cancel & "Cooling-Off" Period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the absolute legal right to cancel your order for any reason, without justification, within a statutory "cooling-off" period of 14 calendar days.

The cancellation period expires exactly 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), physically takes possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in multiple shipments, the 14-day period begins the day after you receive the final item of that specific order.

2. How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision via a clear, unequivocal statement prior to the expiration of the 14-day window. You may notify us using the following channels:

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

3. Return Timelines and Obligations

Once you have notified us of your intent to cancel, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the day you communicated your cancellation to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the items delivered are faulty or not as described (see Section 6).

4. Condition of Returned Items & Diminished Value

You are legally permitted to handle and inspect the garments to the same extent that would be reasonably allowed in a physical high-street boutique (e.g., trying on a shirt for size). However, items must be returned unwashed, unworn, clean, and complete with all original tags, labels, and original protective packaging intact.

Under UK law, you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the items. If an item is returned damaged, visibly worn, soiled, or altered, we reserve the strict right to deduct an amount from your refund up to the full contract price to reflect the loss in retail value.

5. Refund Process and Delivery Costs

If you cancel your contract within the statutory period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard costs of outbound delivery. Please note:

  • If you selected a premium, express, or enhanced delivery method (e.g., Next-Day Courier), we are only legally required to refund the amount equivalent to our standard, least expensive delivery option.

  • We will process your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the returned goods back from you, or (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide verifiable evidence that you have sent the items back.

  • The reimbursement will be issued using the exact same payment method that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any processing fees as a result of the reimbursement.

6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrectly Described Goods

Separate from your right to change your mind, all products supplied by Cooleman Wear must conform to the strict legal benchmarks established under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and exactly as described on our digital storefront.

  • Short-Term Right to Reject (Within 30 Days): If an item develops a manufacturing fault, arrives damaged, or is misdescribed, you have a statutory right to reject the goods and demand a full refund within 30 calendar days of delivery.

  • Repair or Replacement (Within 6 Months): If a fault manifests after 30 days but within 6 months of delivery, you are entitled to request a repair or a replacement garment at our expense. If a repair or replacement is impossible or unsuccessful, you are then entitled to a full or partial refund.

For any inherently faulty items, Cooleman Wear will assume full financial responsibility for the return shipping costs. Please contact info@coolemanwear.store prior to posting the item, so we may provide a pre-paid return shipping label.

7. Statutory Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

In accordance with UK consumer law, the statutory right to cancel and change your mind does not apply to:

  • Garments that have been custom-tailored, bespoke, or explicitly personalised to your unique specifications.

  • Items that have been securely sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons (such as underwear) if the hygienic seal or packaging has been unsealed, opened, or broken after delivery.
